A bit about us....

Been in the business for far too long (35 years - yes, I know I don't look old enough). 'Classically trained' with HMRC (known then as the Inland Revenue), then poacher-turned-gamekeeper, qualifying and gaining experience at small and medium sized accountancy firms - with exposure to a terrifically varied client base. Simultaneously building the TaxPerfect practice. Surrounded by various expert support services where I can't answer a question (spoiler alert: nobody has an answer for everything; it's knowing what you don't know, and how to get hold of it, which is important).

An ambivert by nature - which means am equally happy in large groups as well as the intimacy of 1-2-1's.

I am a curious beast in that I actually love researching the tax system and the endless possibilities. Just as well, really.
